WVU SOJ hosts ‘The Revolution will be Tweeted: Social Media and Free Speech in the Middle East’

By Erin Fitzwilliams

The West Virginia University School of Journalism is hosting a panel discussion called “The Revolution will be Tweeted: Social Media and Free Speech in the Middle East,” beginning at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. Throughout the event, I will be watching via webcast and engaging in live tweets with others able to be present.

I was able to keep up with the tweets as I watched the webcast, but experienced some problems with the program when the spam tweets began coming in. As it says at the end of the Storify, WVUToday will their own version of a Storify, which I will post tomorrow.
